Basketball Recap: Eastern Hancock Skates Past Cowan with Ease

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Eastern Hancock on Saturday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Cowan Blackhawks out of the water with a 68-21 final score. The victory continues a trend for the Royals in their matchups with the Blackhawks: they've now won eight in a row.

Eastern Hancock got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kayden Ruble out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards. Ruble is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Powers, who went 5 for 12 on his way to 14 points.

Eastern Hancock smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in February of 2024.
