Soccer Game Preview: Immaculata-La Salle vs. Gulliver Prep

The Immaculata-La Salle Royal Lions will challenge the Gulliver Prep Raiders at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Immaculata-La Salle was able to grind out a solid win over Somerset Academy (Silver Palms), taking the game 3-1.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Gulliver Prep rose to the challenge on Friday. They never let the Knights onto the board and left with a 6-0 victory. Considering the Raiders have won ten games by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Keys Gate with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nicolas Pi?eros (3), Massimiliano Grimaldi, Jorge Gouvea, and Justin Merner.

Immaculata-La Salle's win bumped their record up to 10-3-3. As for Gulliver Prep, they are also on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2-2 record this season.

Immaculata-La Salle came up short against Gulliver Prep in their previous meeting back in November of 2023, falling 2-0. Can Immaculata-La Salle avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
