Baseball Recap: Skyline Takes a Loss

Skyline lost to Conway back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tigers fell just short of the Bears by a score of 3-1. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly two runs.

Brigham Willis was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Skyline and nudges their season record down to 15-12. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only two runs. As for Conway, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-10 record this season.

Skyline is taking a road trip to face off against Ash Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Conway, they will face off against Sparta at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
