Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Trinity Pearson and Monica Mina Lead Wolfson to Victory

Wolfson won the last time they faced Sandalwood and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wolfpack were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Saints. Winning may never get old, but the Wolfpack sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Wolfson was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-17, 25-19.

Leading Wolfson to victory were Monica Mina and Trinity Pearson. Mina had ten digs and seven assists, while Pearson hit 53.6% for 15 kills and 13 digs, three aces, and one block. That's the most digs Pearson has posted over her last seven contests.

They weren't the only good servers: Wolfson was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Wolfson's record is now 14-1. As for Sandalwood, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-8.

Coincidentally, Wolfson and Sandalwood will both be playing Mandarin the next time they take the court. The Wolfpack will host the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Saints will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
