They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over the Mountain View Bruins. Shaylie Lang made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over eight innings while giving up four earned runs off nine hits. Lang was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run and one double.
