It was a proper cat-fight when Circleville challenged Liberty Union on Thursday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won six in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-19, 25-11.

Addison Edgington paced Circleville's offense, picking up 13 kills. Edgington got some help from Ally Thornsley and her 27 assists. Kaylee West controlled things from the service line, finishing with 11 aces.

Circleville's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Liberty Union, their loss was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-18.

Coincidentally, Circleville and Liberty Union will both be playing Fairfield Union the next time they take the court. The Tigers will host the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Lions will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
