Middleton won the last time they faced Kaukauna and things went their way on Saturday too. The Cardinals had just enough and edged out the Galloping Ghosts 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cardinals.

Their offense was headlined by Ruby Clooten and Maleah Faren, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Andrea Wipperfurth and her 21 assists. Lily Kulow controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Middleton's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Kaukauna, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Middleton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Kettle Moraine on the 13th. As for Kaukauna, they have also already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Appleton North on the 16th.
