Baseball Game Preview: Heritage Christian Angels vs. Victory Christian Eagles

The Heritage Christian Angels will head out to challenge the Victory Christian Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

While Heritage Christian didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on Ezekiel Academy with a sharp 11-1 victory on Tuesday. The Angels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Victory Christian never let their opponents score last Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over Success Unlimited Academy. The Eagles not only won last Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 14, 2024.

Victory Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Benge, who fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3. Those two home runs gave Benge a new career-high.

Victory Christian's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Heritage Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
