Softball Recap: Greece Odyssey Comes Up Short

Greece Odyssey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 6-5 to the Irondequoit Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Leopards were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 15-0.

Greece Odyssey's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Irondequoit, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-7.

Greece Odyssey has already played their next matchup, a 6-0 defeat against Wayne on the 2nd. As for Irondequoit, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 20-0 loss against Rush-Henrietta on the 2nd.
