Soccer Game Preview: Westbrook Christian vs. Oologah

The Westbrook Christian Warriors will be taking part in a tournament against the Oologah Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Westbrook Christian sitting on three straight wins and Oologah on seven.

Westbrook Christian will bounce into Friday's game after beating Gadsden City, who they had gone 1-6 against in their seven prior meetings. The Warriors never let the Titans get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory two weeks ago. Give Westbrook Christian's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Meanwhile, Oologah made easy work of Hazel Green on Thursday and carried off a 6-0 win. The result was nothing new for Oologah, who have now won six contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Hazel Green with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Layney Molini (3), Avery Duff, Tatum Reynolds, and Rylen Walters.

Westbrook Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-5-1. As for Oologah, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.
