Soccer Recap: South Lyon East Comes Up Short

After flying high against South Lyon last Thursday, South Lyon East came back down to earth. The Cougars fell just short of the Mott Corsairs by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Mott this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

South Lyon East now has a losing record of 5-6-2. As for Mott, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-1-3 record this season.

South Lyon East will face off against Farmington at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mott, they have already played their next contest, a 5-4 victory against Ferndale on the 14th.
