Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Beachwood). They came out on top against the Orange Lions by a score of 8-3 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-0 last Wednesday.

Ethan Malek made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Malek was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

In other batting news, Beachwood got a big performance out of Tristan Brown, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-2. Those three stolen bases gave Brown a new career-high. Josh Rosenblitt was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
