Basketball Recap: Parkside Falls Short Against Ranked Riverside

Parkside is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Riverside. The Parkside Eagles took a 75-60 bruising from the Riverside Ram. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Mason Ridgeway continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Riverside, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Ridgeway a new career-high in rebounds. Another player making a difference was Josh Ntiamoah, who went 5 of 7 en route to 11 points.

Parkside's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Riverside, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-1.
