Academy for Classical Education has gone a perfect 6-0 against Northeast recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Gryphons will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Academy for Classical Education's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Northeast has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

Academy for Classical Education's tournament run continued when they took on Ola on Saturday. The Gryphons fell 2-0 to the Mustangs.

Meanwhile, Northeast came up short against Crawford County on Tuesday and fell 2-0.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Crawford County scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18.

Academy for Classical Education's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Northeast, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Academy for Classical Education came out on top in a nail-biter against Northeast in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. Will the Gryphons repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
