Volleyball Recap: Harding Skippers vs. Lordstown Red Devils

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Badger, Harding was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Lordstown Red Devils 3-0. The win was some much needed relief for the Skippers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The 3-0 doesn't show just how dominant Harding was: they took every set by at least eight points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-17, 25-12.

Ashlie Kastl had an outrageously good game as she had 15 digs and four aces.

She wasn't the only good server: Harding was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in August.

The victory got Harding back to even at 5-5. As for Lordstown, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harding will stay at home for another game and welcome Chalker at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lordstown, they will host Pymatuning Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
