Volleyball Game Preview: Manteca Buffaloes vs. Oakdale Mustangs + How To Watch

Manteca is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Oakdale is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Buffaloes will host the Mustangs at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Manteca not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 30th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over East Union.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Manteca took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-7, 25-8.

Meanwhile, Oakdale posted their closest victory since October 10, 2024 on Thursday. They skirted past Central Catholic 3-2. The game was the first time the Mustangs have beaten the Raiders on their court since September 29, 2022.

Oakdale wouldn't go down easily and took Central Catholic into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-9, 20-25, 20-25, 15-9.

The win got Oakdale back to even at 13-13. As for Manteca, their victory bumped their record up to 15-8.
