Softball Recap: Hendersonville Comes Up Short

If Hendersonville was riding high fresh off their 13-6 takedown of North Henderson on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bearcats came up short against the East Rutherford Cavaliers on Wednesday, falling 10-0. The shutout was out of character for the Bearcats seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Hendersonville's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for East Rutherford, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Cavaliers beat Hendersonville by a score of 13-5 on Friday.
