Game recap: Haynie unstoppable on ground as Belton-Honea Path bests Walhalla

Ted Haynie ran for five touchdowns to lift Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, S.C.) to a 58-0 beat over Walhalla (S.C.).

The Bears were up 37-0 at the half after taking the lead on a Haynie touchdown run in the first quarter.

Belton-Honea Path expanded its lead to 44 points entering the fourth quarter. BHP scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run by Will Boggs.

Even though the Honea Path school led by 44 points entering the fourth quarter, it poured the points on, scoring 14 in the fourth.

The Bears' most effective player was Haynie. The junior wide receiver kicked eight extra points.



When the two teams played each other last season, Belton-Honea Path came away with a 48-3 victory.

With the win BHP extended its winning streak to three games.

Walhalla (2-2) will play a AAA Region I game against Emerald next week, while Belton-Honea Path (3-1) will take on West-Oak also in a AAA Region I game.
