Basketball Game Preview: Richland Bombers vs. Walla Walla Blue Devils

The Richland Bombers and the Walla Walla Blue Devils will face off at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Friday, Richland took their game with ease, bagging a 75-47 victory over Hanford. The win continues a trend for the Bombers in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Walla Walla, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They strolled past Southridge with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 63-46.

Richland's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Walla Walla, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-11.

Richland was able to grind out a solid victory over Walla Walla when the teams last played back in January, winning 78-66. Will Richland repeat their success, or does Walla Walla have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
