Volleyball Game Preview: Central Dauphin Rams vs. Cedar Cliff Colts

The Central Dauphin Rams will face off against the Cedar Cliff Colts at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Central Dauphin is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Pennsylvania's top teams: Lower Dauphin, who was ranked eighth at the time (Central Dauphin was ranked fifth). The Rams were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Falcons on Tuesday.

Central Dauphin never let Lower Dauphin on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-17, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Cedar Cliff posted their closest win since September 25, 2024 on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Altoona. The Colts haven't had any issues with the Mountain Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Cedar Cliff was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 9-25, 25-11, 21-25, 25-13, 15-12.

Central Dauphin's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Cedar Cliff, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
