They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Bemidji Lumberjacks. For Sauk Rapids-Rice, this counts as revenge for the 11-1 loss Bemidji walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2021.
Riley Turck was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Turck was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
