Seton has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will head out to take on the Lakota West Firebirds at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Seton is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Ohio's top teams: Mason, who was ranked 19th in their home state at the time (Seton was ranked second). Seton walked away with a 3-1 victory over Mason on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Lakota West earned a 3-1 win over Middletown on Thursday.
Lakota West got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brookelyn Humphrey out in front who had 14 digs. Humphrey is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last 11 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jules Ramsey, who had eight digs and 11 assists.
Lakota West was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive matches.
Seton is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-2 record this season. As for Lakota West, their record now sits at 10-8.
