Basketball Recap: New Salem Comes Up Short

New Salem and White Shield squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but New Salem had to settle for second. They took a 60-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the White Shield Warriors. The Holsteins' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

New Salem's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for White Shield, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

As of now, neither New Salem nor White Shield have any future games scheduled.
