Valor South Austin snaps ten-game streak of wins on the road

Recap: Valor South Austin Falcons vs. IDEA Montopolis
It was a good run, but the Valor South Austin Falcons unfortunately witnessed the end of their 16-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 41-33 to IDEA Montopolis.
IDEA Montopolis found their leader in underclassman Damarion Fisher, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks. That makes it four consecutive games in which Fisher has scored at least a third of IDEA Montopolis' points. Trey Sneed was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with nine rebounds and two blocks.
Valor South Austin's defeat ended a ten-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-3. As for IDEA Montopolis, their win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5.
Valor South Austin will take on KIPP Austin Brave at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for IDEA Montopolis, they will head out on the road to take on IDEA Bluff Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
