Baseball Recap: King City Gets the Win

King City lost to East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Wildkats came out on top against East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] by a score of 5-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildkats.

The team relied heavily on Ryder Sample, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Heinrich, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

The win got King City back to even at 4-4. As for East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax], this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King City will square off against North Andrew at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax], they will challenge Osborn at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
