After both having extra time off, the Triton Hawks and the Pine Forest Trojans will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Triton had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.3 runs), and they went ahead and made it four two weeks ago. They never let the Wolverines onto the board and left with an 18-0 win.
Triton let Bailey Johnson and Berkley Campbell loose on the outfield. Johnson scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances, while Campbell scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
