Basketball Game Preview: Wayne Hills Patriots vs. Ramapo Raiders

Wayne Hills is 1-7 against Ramapo since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Wayne Hills Patriots will be playing at home against the Ramapo Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Tuesday, Wayne Hills was able to grind out a solid win over Passaic, taking the game 57-50. Given the Patriots' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 118th, while the Indians are ranked 295th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Ramapo over Tenafly in every quarter on their way to victory on Saturday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Ramapo blew Tenafly out of the water with a 69-39 final score. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

Ramapo's victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-6. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.1 points per game. As for Wayne Hills, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Wayne Hills beat Ramapo 40-30 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Will Wayne Hills repeat their success, or does Ramapo have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
