North Eugene extends home winning streak to ten

Recap: North Eugene Highlanders vs. Caldera

The North Eugene Highlanders waltzed into their contest Saturday with six straight wins but they left with seven. They blew past Caldera 75-51. North Eugene's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

It was another big night for India Mohiuddin, who scored 26 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Those five assists set a new season-high mark for him. Elias McKinnis was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds.

North Eugene pushed their record up to 8-1 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 20.3 points. As for Caldera, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

North Eugene will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Putnam at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th. Caldera will be home for the holidays to greet Henley at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Henley is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
