Soccer Game Preview: Webb vs. Boyd-Buchanan

The Webb Spartans are taking a road trip to challenge the Boyd-Buchanan Buccaneers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Webb will be strutting in after a win while Boyd-Buchanan will be coming in after a defeat.

The home team had won the previous six meetings between Webb and King's Academy, and Webb kept the tradition alive. The Spartans put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 4-1 victory on Monday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Webb considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

Meanwhile, Boyd-Buchanan didn't have quite enough to beat Liberty Creek on Saturday and fell 2-1. Boyd-Buchanan have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Boyd-Buchanan now has a losing record of 1-2-2. As for Webb, their win bumped their record up to 3-1-1.
