Basketball Recap: Highland Springs Springers vs. Henrico Warriors
Make it ten blowout wins for the Highland Springs Springers this season. They blew past Henrico, posting a 66-38 victory at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Highland Springs.
Highland Springs had a senior duo take command as Ah'kiyah Pye scored 22 points and Morgan Boyd scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Samaya Brown, who scored ten points.
Highland Springs has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for Henrico, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Highland Springs will take on the Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
