There's no place like home for James Kenan, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Kinston Vikings with a sharp 17-0 win on Thursday. That looming 17-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Tigers yet this season.

Shylah Sloan was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, she gave up only two walks, the fewest she's had since back in April of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kinzely Sloan, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five stolen bases, and six RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Kenadi Gideons was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3.
