Basketball Recap: Northern Valley Has No Trouble Against Tescott

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Northern Valley had no problem doing just that on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 51-36 win over the Tescott Trojans.

It was another big night for Jordyn Cox, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. She has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Jaycee Gebhard was another key player, putting up eight points along with ten boards and five assists.

Northern Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in ten consecutive contests.

Northern Valley's victory bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Tescott, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Northern Valley nor Tescott have any future games scheduled.
