Basketball Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

Highland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 44-35 to the Clark County Indians. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-36 last Friday.

Clark County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grayden Kleine, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Hardin, who earned six points.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Clark County, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Highland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 55-38 victory against Hannibal on the 25th. Clark County has also already played their next game, a 73-60 loss against Fort Madison on the 28th.
