Rancho piles up the points against Moapa Valley

Recap: Rancho Rams vs. Moapa Valley Pirates

The Rancho Rams scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 105-46 victory over Moapa Valley. The victory was nothing new for Rancho as they're now sitting on five straight.

Jakoi Lide continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 41 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Jordan Childress was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with six steals.

Moapa Valley lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Bryson Walker, who scored 18 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Chase Neilson, who scored eight points.

Rancho pushed their record up to 13-3 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 81.0 points per game. As for Moapa Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12-1 record this season.

Rancho will be playing in front of their home fans against Palo Verde at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Palo Verde is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Moapa Valley, they will head out on the road to square off against Somerset Sky Pointe at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Somerset Sky Pointe has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
