Volleyball Recap: Godley Takes a Loss

Godley extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping them down to 3-6. They came up short against the Paschal Panthers, falling 3-0. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Panthers when the teams met back in August of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Paschal, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 2-8 record. They not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 29, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Among those leading the charge was Delilah Andrade, who had 14 assists and six digs. That's the most assists she has posted since back in September of 2024. Georgia Ostransky also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Godley will welcome Sunnyvale at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Paschal, they will be playing at home against Trinity at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
