Baseball Recap: West Creek Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for West Creek's offense. They came up short against the Clarksville Academy Cougars on Monday, falling 14-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Coyote in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost five in a row.

West Creek now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Clarksville Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Coming up, it'll be Eastside v. Westside when West Creek and Northeast meet at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clarksville Academy, they will welcome Kirkwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clarksville Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.
