Baseball Recap: Cabool Takes a Loss

Cabool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Alton Comets, falling 12-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Bulldogs were not able to get on the board.

Cabool's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Alton, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Cabool is taking a road trip to challenge Summersville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.4 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Alton, they will welcome Van Buren at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
