Lancaster has gone a perfect 10-0 against Palmdale recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Eagles will head out to challenge the Falcons at 3:15 p.m. Lancaster is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.1 runs per game this season.

Lancaster is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Highland just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 14-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered since March 4th.

Ashlee Laxamana was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

Meanwhile, Palmdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 14-2 to Eastside.

Lancaster's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Palmdale, their loss dropped their record down to 1-16.

Lancaster took their victory against Palmdale in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 26-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
