Volleyball Recap: North Central Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Center Grove

North Central faced Center Grove in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

North Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Center Grove, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Central will venture away from home to square off against Roncalli at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Center Grove, they will take on Avon at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans are facing the Orioles at the right time seeing as the Orioles are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
