Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Presley Worthington and Miyah Lish Lead Syracuse to Victory

Syracuse won the last time they faced Farmington and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Titans put the hurt on the Phoenix with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.

Syracuse never let Farmington on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-12, 25-23.

Leading Syracuse to victory were Miyah Lish and Presley Worthington. Lish had three digs and three aces, while Worthington had 14 digs and four aces. Lish is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last 26 games she's played dating back to last season.

Farmington's loss came despite strong showings from Kole Riebe and Kylee Day. Riebe had 18 digs and two aces, while Day had 11 assists.

Syracuse's record is now 18-6. As for Farmington, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-18 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Syracuse will face off against Corner Canyon at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Farmington, after both having extra time off, they and Layton will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
