Soccer Game Preview: Grant vs. Jenks

The Grant Generals will head out on the road to take on the Jenks Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Grant has struggled recently with ten losses in a row, while Jenks will arrive with five straight victories.

Grant fell victim to Sapulpa and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chieftains.

Meanwhile, Jenks kept a clean sheet against Enid on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Plainsmen. The result was nothing new for Jenks, who have now won three matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Jenks pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those five contests. As for Grant, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.
