Baseball Recap: Seneca Takes a Loss

Seneca was the 15-0 winner over Valley when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Seneca came up short against Valley on Tuesday, falling 26-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Red Hawks have suffered against the Vikings since April 12, 2017.

Seneca dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Valley, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

Coming up, Seneca will venture away from home to take on Nelson County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Seneca's pitchers better be ready for this one: Nelson County has averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
