Volleyball Recap: Monument Mountain Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Monument Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Lenox Memorial Millionaires. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Monument Mountain was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Lenox Memorial work for it, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-9, 27-25.

Emily Barenski had another great game (as she tends to do), getting 19 digs and four aces for Lenox Memorial. That's the most aces Barenski has posted since back in September. Sara Isby was another key player, getting eight aces.

Monument Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Lenox Memorial, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monument Mountain will host Pittsfield at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lenox Memorial, they will welcome Easthampton/Hampshire at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
