 Flomaton was the  2-0 winner over Central when they last played one another  back in March of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Flomaton Hurricanes fell  7-3 to the Central Jaguars on Monday.
  Jakson Newton was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.  River Ramer was another key contributor,  going 3-for-4 with a  stolen base and a  double.
 On Central's side, their win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Justin Smarr, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Brayden Faust, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
 Flomaton has  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 15-13 record  this season. As for Central, their victory was  their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 17-1.
 Flomaton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central, they have the luxury  of staying home for another  game and will welcome Baker at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
