Football Recap: Horizon Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Horizon can now relate to. They took a 12-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Orange Warriors on Thursday. That makes it the first time this season the Hawks have let down their home crowd.

Horizon's defeat dropped their record down to 15-2. As for West Orange, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Horizon and West Orange are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Hawks will face off against Bloomingdale at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulls' defense has only allowed 11.5 points per game this season, so Horizon's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for West Orange, they will square off against Lennard at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Longhorns will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight.
