Baseball Recap: John Paul II Takes a Loss

John Paul II lost against Hilton Head Prep back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Golden Warrriors took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dolphins.

Garrett Heathcott made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

John Paul II has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Hilton Head Prep, their victory was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-2.

Coming up, John Paul II will take on First Baptist School at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hilton Head Prep, they will challenge Hilton Head Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
