Ava Valenzuela turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than six strikeouts on Friday. She struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk). Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against La Quinta back in February of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock.
