It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sutton can now relate to. They fell just short of the Tri County Trojans by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Mustangs' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Kamryn Steinhauer paced Sutton's offense, picking up 18 kills. Steinhauer got some help from Avery Smith and her 22 assists. Steinhauer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Sutton's defeat dropped their record down to 19-12. As for Tri County, their victory bumped their record up to 18-14.

Coincidentally, Sutton and Tri County will both be playing Exeter-Milligan/Friend the next time they take the court. The Trojans will head out to face the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Mustangs will head out to face them at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
