Dell Rapids is 8-2 against Tri-Valley since November of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Quarriers will head out on the road to take on the Mustangs at 6:45 p.m. Dell Rapids will be strutting in after a win while Tri-Valley will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, Dell Rapids made easy work of Madison and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Quarriers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won five in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-18, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Tri-Valley came up short against Elk Point-Jefferson on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Tri-Valley started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 13-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-16.

Dell Rapids' victory bumped their record up to 23-6. As for Tri-Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.

Dell Rapids beat Tri-Valley 2-0 in their previous meeting on Saturday. Will the Quarriers repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
