It was a good run, but Fair Grove unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 51-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the El Dorado Springs Bulldogs. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Eagles came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Bulldogs are ranked 44th).

Fair Grove's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 11-3. As for El Dorado Springs, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
